Who we are

Integrated Rural Development Foundation (IRDF) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) registered with Kamwenge District Local Government Registration Number: 0910/11. Registered in 2011, IRDF aims at empowering communities through training and sensitization of the poor. Our headquarters are at Bihanga Sub-County, in Kamwenge district, south western Uganda. With the alarming levels of poverty, manifested with high levels of enviromental destruction, unemployment, high levels of vulnerable children, mortality and infant deaths, we design tailored projects to address these community challenges, through charity, training, skills development and nutrition programs. In addition, our portfolio of programs has expanded to include refugees in our outreach owing to the influx of refugees in our project areas. We implement approaches that improve co-existence of refugees and host communities.
